Glass bowl duo by glass artist Sven Palmqvist (1906-1984) for Orrefors, Sweden. In the mid-1950s, Sven Palmqvist designed the "Fuga" or "Colora" series of bowls and cups for Orrefors, in thick, brightly colored glass. These two bowls each have shades of color between the exterior and the lighter interior. A pretty stripe lights up the edge of the yellow bowl. The blue tones are slightly distorted by the photograph (lighter and warmer in reality). Solid objects, and in very good condition.
