The Argentine Army (Ejército Argentino in Spanish) is the land component of the Argentine Armed Forces. Its creation dates back to the years 1806 and 1807, when the British forces invaded Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. It has exactly 52,556 men: 45,556 military and 7,000 civilians.

Rare and very solid glaive/machete model 1909, blade entirely piece with the same number: '' E04265 '' engraved on the scabbard and the glaive, in its own juice with traces due to time. Blade marked on the heel: '' WEYERSBERG KIRSCHBAUM & C° SOLINGEN '' and on the other side: '' MODEL ARGENTINO 1909 '' + coat of arms of Argentina. Wooden handle with grooves with 2 rivets on each side, very solid and solid, without play. Steel scabbard bronzed in its own juice. A few small dents towards the end of the scabbard without gravity. Very solid and rare piece, in superb condition of conservation. Very rare in this condition, 100% original guaranteed. Very pleasant to hold in your hands and even more to observe in a display case!
