Superb old tureen dish signed by the famous villeroy & boch (wallerfangen, therefore a manufacturing date between 1876 and 1909 following the stamp of "mercury with his winged helmet and his two caduceus") to be diverted for another use such as for example for as an aperitif or to present sweets. Very nice shape. Floral designs: iris flowers and foliage. Traces of use: slightly yellowed in places, small old crack which has darkened over time, ... but it remains of the most beautiful effect.
