Very beautiful and rare British, English colonial senior officer's award saber / dagger. The sword is sublime and complete. The handle is made of ray skin, filigreed, engraved with a lion's head and a coat of arms on the hilt with Indian inscriptions. The saber has etched markings on the heel: '' WILSON & SONS 3 & 5 LEXINGTONSTREET GOLDENSQUARE LONDON.W. ''. The blade is clean with traces due to time, in its juice. The scabbard is in very good condition, leather and bronze granite with two rings. The saber fits perfectly into its sheath with its original leather tie. Very pleasant to hold in the hands and even more pleasant to observe in the window! ! !
