Engraving 1897 by Paul JAZET: The soldier's permission. Old engraving representing a soldier who came to see his sweetheart, during his day of leave. The lovers seem very shy in front of the parents and grandmother of the bride. The frame is made of wood with a gilded plaster border, it is equipped with its original glass.
