He studied at the Académie Julian. In 1893 he became an associate of the National Society of Fine Arts and exhibited at the Salon until 1912. He received a silver medal at the Universal Exhibition of 1900. Between 1899 and 1902, he contributed to the magazine Cocorico. lived 8 quai de la Mégisserie in Paris.
