Note foxing, wear on edges and corners, slight stains on the margin. Malo-Renault, pseudonym of Émile Auguste Renault, born in Saint-Malo on October 5, 1870 and died in Le Havre on July 19, 1938 is a draftsman, pastellist, engraver and illustrator. Le Fereteur breton is an illustrated bimonthly regionalist documentary bulletin, published by the Librairie bretonne, rue du Val de Grace in Paris, published between 1905 and 1923. It contains historical, literary and artistic curiosities of Brittany, Celtic studies, genealogies of Breton families and especially questions and answers from readers. The bulletin was published from 1905 to 1923, with a break between 1914 and 1919. It came out every two months from 1905 to 1914, then became aperiodic from July August 1919 to January February 1920. It then became quarterly with the last issues (71 and 72).The cover features a woodcut by Malo Renault depicting a reader lit by a candle.
