It represents the Saint-Bernard bridge and the quays of La Tournelle in Paris. Porte Saint-Bernard, also called Porte de la Tournelle, which no longer exists, was one of the gates of Paris within the walls of Philippe Auguste. It is in color, from the 18th century, beautifully crafted. The frame is later, it is from the 19th century. We report rubbing and foxing on the engraving, the paper is yellowed all around, especially in the margin. Note friction, gilding wear and some gaps on the frame. Everything is visible in the photos, however the work remains in an acceptable state. We sell this engraving without protective glass. We did a basic cleaning.
