Engraving by René Pinard 1925 Nantes boats numbered 99/150 L5759 This engraving was produced by René Pinard, it is countersigned in wooden pencil and numbered 99/150. It represents Nantes boats. It has its frame and protective glass. Unfortunately, the engraving is pitted, particularly in the margin, we note spots of rust in places. The engraving nevertheless remains in acceptable general condition. René Pinard (1883-1938) is a French painter and engraver. He was appointed Marine Painter in 1921. Obviously, as a marine painter, most of his work has the theme of the sea, the navy and sailors. Moreover, more often boats than the sea itself.
