Indeed, on either side of the clock we find subjects in the Antique representing goddesses, perhaps Artemis and Athena, in the middle we find a Diana the huntress, on the bottom the heads of goat-footed fauns , at the top a Cupid riding a deer. Everything is in gilded bronze with an enamelled dial. We guarantee the seniority and the early 19th century. The pendulum is chic, it is in gilded bronze. The carving is of great precision, the gilding is typical of the quality linked to Empire clocks, the decoration is of incredible richness, the base is in black marble, the spinning top feet are original. The movement seems original to us. This clock has not been cleaned or restored, it is perfect for an individual, a collector, a merchant. For the state note friction on the bronze, a lack on the enamel dial, gears and stains on the marble base. However, it remains in good general condition. It is sold without a key.
