Creil-Montereau earthenware is a ceramic production from the communes of Montereau, in the department of Seine-et-Marne and Creil, in the Oise. Founded in 1797, the Creil factory, cited by Gustave Flaubert in L'Éducation sentimentale, developed especially in the 19th century. It closed its doors in 1955.
