Cracked ceramic vase by Lachenal 1930 ovoid shape M2111 Here is a pretty vase signed "Lachenal", the signature is difficult to decipher but it is indeed Lachenal. The blue is typical, with a nice crack and an ovoid shape. Edmond Lachenal (1853-1948)  Edouard Achille Lachenal, known as Edmond,  French ceramist, painter and sculptor, was attached to Art Nouveau. He contributed to the revival of ceramics around 1900. As for the condition, note the glaze jumps around the edge, a more significant jump visible in our photos.
