LITHOGRAPHY COUNTERSIGNED MAURICE UTRILLO MONTMARTRE ON JAPAN PAPER A4572Here is a lithograph bearing the signature of Utrillo, countersigned on the right. On the left is the inscription "Original lithograph proof on paper Montmartre le moulin de la Galette". Maurice Utrillo (1883-1955) is a tormented personality, painting therefore becomes an outlet for his mental disorders. The artist draws his inspiration from places of life, cafes, taverns and restaurants. In the 1910s, after beginnings clearly influenced by Impressionism, Maurice Utrillo quickly established himself as the reference artist of the School of Paris, preferring a refined representation of the streets of Paris and especially Montmartre, in which he spent the most large part of his life, to the surrealist and abstractionist effervescence of the moment. We report a trace on an angle at the bottom right, a defect at the top left, slight friction, everything is visible in the photos. These flaws are not fatal. You'll also notice a not-so-happy tape at the back to keep her on the go. We sell it unframed. For the state thank you for detailing the photos. Feel free to zoom. The photos are an integral part of the description. Dimensions: - Pass Height: 35 cm Width: 28 cm - Lithography Height: 25 cm Width: 20 cm I remain at your disposal for any questions.
