A Soviet submariner's rescue diving suit. circa 2010, light use, unisex made in two heights - this particular set is for a person with a height of 180-200cm. for reference I'm pictured 180cm tall and 90kg with a lot more room inside, bearing in mind there's also another internal suit to wear before that but as it was very hot, I chose not to put it so sorry!
Designed for emergency rescue of submariners from a sunken submarine at depths of up to 120 meters. It is used in conjunction with a rescue breathing apparatus, it is possible to use the SGP suit as an immersion suit for light diving.
The back and chest of the suit are made of double (very dense) rubberized fabric, the inflatable cavity - an integrated "life jacket" - serves as a compensating vest, filling with compressed air - gives a person positive buoyancy and pushes it up to the surface of the water.
The sleeves of the suit are finished with rubber mittens, and the legs - with rubber boots, into which weighted rubber-covered insoles (available in the kit) are inserted. In the chest part of the suit there is a cutout for putting on the wetsuit. An appendix is glued along the perimeter of the cutout, intended to seal the diving suit.
The costume is brand new and has not been used before. It can be used not only for its intended purpose, but also for shallow diving surveys, for example, fishing, as well as display for thematic exhibitions, shopping malls, sports shops, restaurants, cafes, etc.
