Charming little desk in honey oak, ideal for a primary school child. It is typical of the 1940s or 1950s with its box, its pull tab and its side extension. It is the little brother of the administration desk of the time or the "school teacher's desk". Note: the previous owner raised the side legs by 5 cm so that an adult's chair could be used and the child could enjoy his desk a little longer.
2 brackets have been screwed under the top to reinforce the structure. Traces of time but what a charm!!! (see photos). The price takes these small defects into account. Very pretty patina. Height 73 cm - tray 80 X 45 cm - open tray with the flap 111 X 45 cm - approximately 18 kg.
