Mörk-Ossians, born August 31, 1906 in Stockholm, died on December 28, 1970 in Skänninge, was a Swedish painter and graphic designer. Dark grew up in Boden. [1] He was the son of foreman August Einar Mörk and Ottilia jenny Bergström and from 1934 married Hildur Kristina Lindblom. Dark ace to artist was self-taught. He exhibited mainly in a large number of hotels in Norrland, Småland and in the Swedish mountain world with Eric Lundberg, he exhibited in Eksjö in 1949. He specializes in painting motifs of the Swedish mountain world in oil or in gouache. He signs his works with T. Mörk-Ossians. It has an original frame, it represents a landscape of snow-capped mountains with a lake in the foreground, we note friction and small traces on the painting. It has a peculiarity, it is that the panel is painted on both sides and signed.On the reverse you will find another work by Mork Ossians which represents a dead tree on a red background, it bears traces of scotch tape and friction and scratches. These are works probably between 1940 and 1950 which are missing, a signature difficult to identify. On the back a paper indicating the name of the artist.
