Candlestick, three-branched candlestick in Vallauris ceramic from the 1950s-60s, unmarked. Its atypical and bold design makes it an extraordinary piece.

Resting on a circular base, the base rises in an organic and sculptural form with abstract lines, giving an impression of movement and vitality. The whole is sublimated by a refined enameling. The shiny enamel comes in shades of red and brown, enhanced with touches of white.

It's been several years since I found this piece. I looked for its twin, but without success for my part. Its style is singular, mixing modernist and abstract influences, with a surrealist and even expressionist touch.

Personally, this piece reminds me of a heart with its valves. ☺️ Now all that remains is to find its ideal place in an interior. *
Please note: two slight enamel jumps, barely visible on the edge of one of the branches, which do not alter its aesthetics in any way.
