China or Indochina 19th century ironwood cabinet with mother-of-pearl marquetry inlay C2224 This late 19th century cabinet is probably Chinese or Indochinese. The mother-of-pearl inlays are sumptuous, we find them on all surfaces, floral decor and characters. It opens and forms a dressing table, with six drawers. As for the condition, we report bends on the metal, clearly visible in the photos, some minor missing mother-of-pearl, the wood has moved a little. We don't have the key to the drawer. Note that one of the drawers on the front needs to be glued back together.  The mirror is beveled but unfortunately stained. One of the side hinges needs to be tightened. This cabinet still remains a magnificent object.
