Soap dish, complete, in English phosphatic porcelain, from the Brown Westhead Moore faience factory, "Canova" model. Very pretty earthenware, printed in brown bird monochrome. This English factory was in operation between 1862 and 1904 and this service dates from approximately 1885. This magnificent object remains in good condition for its age. Note that the cover has been glued back on (very discreet when viewed from above), that it has a small non-through crack (manufacturing defect) and brown stains (see photos).
