19th C. GOLDEN BRASS BOX DECORATED WITH A LATE 18TH C. MINIATURE IN A COSTUME M1290 This 19th C. box, probably circa 1880, is decorated with a pretty hand-made miniature representing an 18th C. woman. The miniature is of good quality. She has initials. The box is in gilded brass decorated with a floral decoration. It is beautifully made with a nice gilding. We report wear, friction in places. However, this box is in superb condition.
