Born in 1950 in Egypt, arrived in Marseille in 1956, this comic strip artist (Spirale and Pilou) settled in Paris in 1968 to study modern literature.

After being a teacher, he began a parallel career as a cartoonist in the children's press: Quinze ans, Fripounet, Triolo, Pistil, Spirou...
while participating in TV shows for FR3 Jeunesse: Le club d'Ulysse, Les couleurs du temps... and creating cartoon series: Cot-cot, Spirale, l'Hélicotron...

After leaving the National Education system, he joined the world of the adult press, in a more "clear line" graphic style: L'Evénement du Jeudi, Le Point, L'Express, L' Expansion... and also participated in numerous collaborations for the corporate press, for advertising (Perrier japon, Thomson, Avis...) or for the Yellow Pages.

He also created the cover of a record for Nino Ferrer for whom he drew a clip of the famous hit "Téléphon" in the 1990s.
