Set of 12 cocktail knives, in their original box, from the F. Rolland goldsmith cutlery, 4 rue Jean Jaurès in Rennes (goldsmith shop no longer exists). We did not investigate whether the owner was a descendant of Martin Rolland, who produced several objects at the end of the 15th and beginning of the 16th century (notified in the accounts of the city of Rennes). Original, these knives allow you to cut, spread and slice, for a successful aperitif! Red bakelite handles and brass blades, nicely assembled by a ferrule representing a shell. Note that one knife has a split handle (see photos) and that a hinge of the box is broken. Lot in very good condition. A knife measures 16 cm. Dimensions: H4 x L20 x D20
