BOOK VERTIGO BY FRANCOIS PIAZZA DEDICATION FOR LIFSCHITZ HC L 1945 PUR FIL M248 Book Vertigo by Francois Piazza with a preface by Francis Carco and 26 lithographs by Luis Vidal Molné, printed on pure wire paper in the shape of Johannot. Publisher Raoul Solar Monaco 1945. This copy was specially printed for Boris Lifschitz with also a dedication from the author, it is one of 20 copies marked H.C, this copy is L. Boris Souvarine, pseudonym of Boris Lifschitz, born on 5 November 1895 in Kiev and died on November 1, 1984 in Paris, was a Russian and French political activist, journalist, historian and essayist.   Luis Molné is a painter and lithographer born in Barcelona on September 27, 1907 and who lived in Monaco where he died in 1970. With Antoni Clavé, whose friend he was, he belongs to the Catalan school of the 20th century.   François Marie Alexandre Carcopino-Tusoli known as Francis Carco, born July 3, 1886 in Nouméa (New Caledonia) and died May 26, 1958 in the 4th arrondissement of Paris. He is also known under the pseudonym of Jean d'Aiguières. Soft cardboard cover, filled and illustrated, frictions and stains, presentation in sheets, uncut pages.  Note, the pages are yellowed with a few slight stains, the spine is in very poor condition, torn, folded, dog-eared with gaps, the casing is in poor condition, however, the interior is very clean. The work remains in a suitable condition, however it is an old book and the defects of use must be accepted. For the condition, please detail the photos. Feel free to zoom in.
