KOHN chair, circa 1902/1908, unknown in the Kohn catalogs and yet stamped by the manufacturer in the Teschen factory. We notice a similarity in the openwork back with the JJK N°721 armchair which is a creation by Otto Wagner. The canework of this large chair is new, manual in 2.25 mm x 2.8 mm, (SR weaving). A beautiful, solid and original piece, it is however not unique or even a prototype because it can be found caned in photos in the collections of Julio Chives Chillida and upholstered - Backhausen - in a private collection in Austria (see attached photos). We kept the two original shades which blend very well. Dimensions: Total Height: 76 cm, Seat Height: 47 cm, Width excluding VAT: 53 cm, Seat: 40X45cm More photos and information on request.
