Description

Chair No. 14 ½ dating from 1910, it is therefore a chair of bistro size but with a seat height of 47 cm, (the "bistros" are generally 46 cm) We do not know its manufacturer but the work is of quality, it has its reinforcement brackets between the seat and the back, a rare shade - frequent in the bistros of the "belle époque" -. I attach in this regard a color chart from Thonet which shows the possible variations around 1900. The Art Nouveau seat is little known and very elegant. Described as "waterproof" by a stamp. Total height: 86 cm, seat height: 47 cm, diameter: 38 cm More photos and information on request Shipping France and Europe or collection Alsace.
