Description

This baroque Sicilian ceramic dish Atelier du monde Méditerranée was made in Santo Stefano di Camastra, Italy and by Giuseppe Zaffiro. This place of manufacture is located on the northern coast of Sicily, halfway between Palermo and Messina, and is very well known as the "city of ceramics". It dates back to the second half of the 20th century when the first cars appeared and you had to go from Palermo to Messina. You had to go through Santo Stefano di Camastra. Everyone stopped to admire all the objects and soon the news spread very quickly.
The dish presented here is made in a "Sicilian Baroque" style obtained with techniques passed down from father to son, the pride of Made in Italy. His repertoire is rich in shapes, figures and colors.
