BAROMETER BY PIER MOLZENNE 18TH CENTURY IN RICHLY CARVED GOLDEN WOOD M1344 This 18th century barometer is richly carved with a floral decoration around the edge and a pretty beaded frieze descending along the barometer. The whole has a very beautiful gilding to the leaf. The barometer is presented unrestored, as fans of this type of object can appreciate. We have not carried out any tests concerning the use of this barometer. We must accept the defects due to age. This barometer is in an acceptable general condition, we point out, for the most picky, wear and friction, gaps and cracks in various places. Note that a needle is missing, holes in the part of the thermometer and the dial. For the dial, we report wear, losses, cracks, decoration probably redone in pencil.
