INDIAN AUTO MASCOT WITH JAVELOT BY FRANÇOIS BAZIN 1930 SILVER BRONZE M504 This automobile mascot received the public sentiment and will remain referenced in the catalogs of props from 1920 to 1938. It is in silver bronze, we find the signature F. Bazin on the Indian basun holds a javelin, the base is lead. François Victor José Johannès Bazin, known as François Bazin, is a French sculptor and medalist, born in Paris on October 31, 1897 and died in the same city ... François Bazin was contacted after the war by the Hispano Suiza Company to create the stopper of radiator of their future cars using the motif of the bird adorning the cabins of the victorious squadron of Guynemer. Between 1920 and 1935, François Bazin created a large number of automobile radiator caps.It remains in good general condition, however we report various wear and friction, greenish spots on the shoulder, no shocks, micro-scratches on the lead base. Please note that a restoration has been carried out on the javelin which is not the original one. She weighs 1.15 kilograms. Sold uncleaned. Thank you for detailing the photos.
