Superb set of 5 mother-of-pearl effect earthenware spice jars, iridescent white/cream (Sugar - Flour - Coffee - Spices - Tea).

Czech earthenware from the renowned Ditmar & Urbach factory (1919-1939).

These 5 spice jars are estimated to date from around 1920-1925.

Depending on the brightness, the reflections change.

Sometimes very iridescent and colorful, sometimes “pearly” creamy white.

Gold lines on the front of the pots, as well as a gold frame on the bottom of each pot.

There is also a motif at the top on each side representing a bouquet, surrounded by a serrated oval frame, topped with a knot, the whole thing is also in gilding.

Each lid has its golden border.

The writings are also golden.

Visible traces of time: Patinated gilding in different places depending on the pots.

Crack repaired on the lid of the largest pot (Sugar).

No other cracks to report.

Good general condition considering their age.
