Very beautiful saber of an Infantry Officer from the Consulate 1st Empire period. Guard with one branch and two mumps in shuttle. Checkered ebony handle, Pommel in melon ribs. Beautiful curved white blade decorated with trophies and marked under an S & K mumps for SCHNITZER and KIRCHBAUM (for the story it is SCHNITZER who is associated with KIRCHBAUM around 1800) Manufacturers of bladed weapons in SOLINGEN. flexible with inside a period wooden slat soul with three brass fittings with lines including the bowl screed and the cut-out stud, not bent, not broken and without lack.
